The Power of Words

Who loves how certain words and idioms carry deep meaning?

I do and one of my favourites is the Japanese word Kaizen, which stands for continuous improvement.

🌱 It’s a reminder that we all have the chance to get a little bit better each day. It’s not about being perfect or making huge steps, it’s about keeping at it and making progress, no matter what.

🎯  I’m a big believer in having dreams, goals, ambitions, a vision, a desire (whatever word you choose for it) that push us forward. Even the smallest step counts!

💬  Are you aware of your goal(s) and do you think about how to achieve it?
💬  Do you put pressure on yourself to be moving faster towards achieving them than is reasonable?
💬  Does this create a sense of overwhelm and feeling demotivated?
💬  Do you reflect to ensure that your ‘how’ is manageable, realistic and achievable?
💬  Do encouraging words, either spoken, read or heard, motivate and/or inspire you?

🌱 Are there any words or sayings that really resonate with you? If you haven’t discovered this yet, perhaps it’s time to explore the power of words. Have a think about it, ask others or do some research. You may find some very inspiring words, phrases, anecdotes or idioms out there that truly inspire you.
